FIFA Confederations Cup Winner: Spain
From our early predictions reigning World and European Champions would take home the FIFA Confederations Cup with Copa America winners Uruguay finishing runners-up. Brazil maybe favourites but they have been disappointing recently and manager Luiz Felipe Scolari might not yet have found his best playing XI. Italy will also put up a fight but quality of teams such as Spain and Brazil might be too much for the Euro 12’ runners-up.
Meanwhile it will be a good learning curve for teams such as Mexico, Japan whereas Nigeria and Tahiti are sure to find it a good experience to spur them on for the future.
